The award for most patient family of the year goes to the Donoho family! Thanks to Colorado’s wettest May ever (wow!) we ended up having to reschedule their session three times. Mom and I were beginning to think that it was going to rain forever! They were heart set on fun outdoor photos of their kiddos, which I’m happy to say the weather finally cooperated for! I think the photos and the memories we created together were absolutely worth it.
We spent our time at the Pueblo Nature Center and went for a mix of candid and posed photos. We laughed a lot, they snuggled a lot, and by the end of the session most of us were filthy. Two little boys stomped in mud puddles, two big kids shared a hug in the leaves and I went for a little swim in the river in an attempt to capture “the perfect shot”.
I love that the photos from the Donoho family’s session are so real- these are photos of moments being lived fully and memories being made.
