Macey’s mom contacted me at the end of last year and asked me to be her baby photographer. It’s always such an honor for me when new parents trust me to capture their baby’s first photographs! Macey was born at the beginning of February and we did her newborn photos when she was right at ten days old.
As part of the session planning process I always ask parents what colors they’d like used in their newborn photos as well as anything that they really just don’t like. This lets me create a truly custom session that gives every family exactly what they’re looking for. Macey’s mama told me that she loves pinks, creams and lace (and hates purples!) so that’s what we went with for this sweet little lady’s session. I was able to dye a beautiful piece of lace to the perfect blush pink for a headband (seen in the first two images) and an adorable pair of pants (which you can’t see because Ms. Macey had an accident in them before we could photograph them). With pink, lace, flowers, and fur the whole setup was so feminine and perfect for a beautiful baby girl!
Macey slept like an absolute dream the entire time we were together and she loved be curled up in my wraps.
Thank-you to Macey’s parents for bringing her to me! I’m so glad we got to capture these wonderful memories together!
