I first met with the Saiz family to take their maternity photos. I got to know their two little boys, and got to experience their excitement as they awaited the birth of their first baby girl. I could tell even in the maternity session that the boys were going to be great big brothers and that mama and daddy would be absolutely smitten with their little princess.
Mishha arrived a few weeks after that session, and came in to see me for her newborn photos just a week later. She was tiny and sweet and absolutely perfect! Her nursery is purples and blue, so we used that color scheme for her newborn photos.
Mishha’s family is a hockey family and it was important to them that we include that theme. When Mishha’s mom brought in all of her boys’ and husband’s gear I’m pretty sure that my mouth dropped open. Let me tell y’all something; hockey gear is big, heavy and looks uncomfortable as heck. Oh, and hockey players have a ton of it! Mishha’s big brothers got geared up and we created a super cute hockey themed photo with big brothers protecting their little sister. For baby’s safety, this image was created from two photos. Hockey sticks don’t really belong anywhere near a baby’s head, especially when held by a toddler.
We also brought the whole family in for a few shots. After taking the photo of beautiful baby Mishha and her gorgeous mama I made sure to tell Daddy how luck he is.
