Every year around Thanksgiving, K.D. Elise Photography hosts a Baby Bump Contest on Facebook. Entrants send in a photo of their pregnant bellies, and friends and family like their photo to vote for them. The winner of the contest wins free newborn baby photos, and a free newborn photography session. It’s one of my favorite contests of the year, and there’s always a lot of entries and tons of votes!
Maxx’s mom first saw me for maternity photos, which turned out gorgeous! She entered one of those photos in the Baby Bump Contest and won. Just a few short weeks later baby Maxx made his entrance into the world and we did his newborn photos.
Maxx had the most gorgeous skin which looked so perfect with the grays, browns and blues that I pulled for his session. We incorporated baseballs into his mom’s maternity session so we made sure to use them again for Maxx’s newborn photos.
For their wedding, Maxx’s mom and dad incorporated items from the movie UP. They chose to keep with the UP theme for a special image for Maxx’s nursery. It was so fun to get to use some very special items from their wedding! The little house was hand built just for them so it was especially meaningful. I absolutely love how Maxx’s UP themed newborn photo turned out!
