Christmas is my favorite time of year, it’s also my favorite time to photograph new babies. I love creating Christmas newborn photos.
Sweet Aria visited me for her newborn session in November. Before we met, I had asked her mom her color preferences and she said she wasn’t a huge fan of red. That instantly set my mind whirring with plans for non-traditional Christmas images.
With the “only a little red” plan in mind I set to work creating our Christmas palette. Silver and gold ended up being the theme that I carried throughout several setups. I brought in pretty pinks, dark blue and green, and a touch of red. I used all the glitter flowers for this session too!
Aria was a tiny little peanut who curled up perfectly in every pose I put her in.
