If you’ve watched my blog over the past several months it’s probably become pretty apparent that a good deal of my time behind the camera is spent photographing newborns, babies and kids. A couple of weeks ago, I got to do something completely out of the box. I had my first pinup photography session, and it was with a lovely model!
Monica was my Baby Bump contest winner at Thanksgiving, and I did newborn portraits for her son Levi. I was able to get to know her a little bit and learned that she had done some pinup modeling when she lived in Utah. Monica wanted to participate in a Colorado Pinup photography cookbook and needed professional photos done.
This was my first pinup session, and coincidentally my first session in my new studio. I had so much fun photographing Monica, and getting to try new techniques. I can’t believe how amazing she looked less than 8 weeks after giving birth, and she was completely comfortable in front of the camera!
