As a children’s photographer, I’m always looking for new and different ways to offer unique things to my clients and to help my sessions stand out. My husband, who happens to be my biggest supporter has been busy lately creating some gorgeous and totally fun props for me to use. We both really like the idea of offering themed sessions to clients, so one of his biggest projects has been a “lemonade stand”. The fun wooden stand was created to be used for a variety of scenes, and will be used for different themed mini sessions as the season change throughout the year. I love how versatile it is, just change out the sign, redecorate it and turn it into something totally new and different. (Keep an eye out, you never know what it’ll turn into next!) As an added bonus, this fun lemonade stand was upcycled from wooden pallets, so it’s totally green too!
We took our four year old out to a little hidden park here in Pueblo anxious to get some lemonade stand photos. Our little guy made the perfect guinea pig, and I think the stand photographed beautifully! I decked it out with an assortment of lemons, pinwheels, and a big pitcher of lemonade. I don’t know about you, but I think it looks pretty great! Of course my kiddo had to be a total ham while I was taking his photos. He even took a big bite out of one of the lemon slices!
These special themed sessions will only be available seasonally, and for a fairly short amount of time. I’ll be opening up a limited number of lemonade stand mini sessions to be held exclusively here in Pueblo in just a few days, but blog readers can e-mail me at kdelisephotography@gmail.com now to get on the schedule. I can’t wait to see the cute photos that will feature your darling children and our cute lemonade stand.
