K.D. Elise Photography is smack in the middle of a baby boom- and they’re pretty much all baby girls! As a newborn photographer, I’m fortunate to work with vendors and prop makers from time to time. This month I’ve had a run of baby girls and a vendor who needed images with a boyish set. I put out a model call for a newborn boy and Junior’s mama answered. She sent a photo in her e-mail and as soon as I saw Junior I knew he was the perfect newborn boy for my newborn photography project, he has the most beautiful skin tone and a gorgeous head full of dark hair!
This green and gold set from my vendor worked so well for Junior! The colors looked amazing on him! He came in wearing the little bracelet, and I think it’s such a sweet personal touch. Junior didn’t mind posing for the camera, he curled up sweet and happy!
Sometimes, babies just like to be wrapped! Junior was one of them! My focus is always on keeping baby safe, happy and comfortable and that means a lot of listening to what baby wants. We kept Junior happy, and mixed up the look for something soft and sweet. I switched out the darker tones for this light set. I love it just as much, Junior was comfy, cozy and positively adorable! Isn’t his hair incredible?
